The series takes its name from the Spanish World Heritage city of Mérida, where many well-preserved buildings from Roman times can still be found today. The surfaces of the large-format tiles made of stoneware and VilboStone porcelain stoneware are reminiscent of the sand-lime bricks used in this historic architecture: With subtle, irregular colour structures and delicate veining in warm, natural colours, MERIDA is perfect for showcasing the modern, clean side of the current country style in living rooms and bathrooms.
